Due to the expected (based on forecasts) adverse weather conditions (Heat Wave), the Ministry of Labor and Social Security issued an announcement prohibiting the movement of shipments using bicycles in Attica (excluding islands), Thrace, the Region of Central Macedonia in the Regional Units of Trikala, Larissa, Heraklion and Lasithi and the islands of Lesvos, Chios, Samos and Rhodes. During the hours of the heat wave 14:00-17:00, shipments should not be moved using bicycles. Store managers should also ensure the provision of cold water and take all appropriate measures to avoid adverse consequences for employees.
