Postal packaging materials (postal boxes and security envelopes) are provided free of charge.
Footnote Clarifications:
additional handling fee per shipment will be introduced. Shipments that do not include this additional handling fee will only be available for pickup form the
company's local depots. 2 The maximum amount for COD service is 2.000 €. 3 For D2SP and D2Locker services, it is possible to change the service upon payment of
the corresponding additional charge. The D2SP and D2Locker services are not available for deliveries to remote areas. 4 Certified transportation of prescribed
medicines available from E.O.P.Y.Y. 5 Transportation of medicines requiring specific controlled temperature environment. 6 The package to be returned will be
invoiced according to the pricelist. The return fee surcharge can be charged either to the sender or to the recipient. 7 Service available for parcels up to 5 kilos
weight. 8 Maximum waiting time is 1 hour. 9 Next day delivery from 09:00 am to 19:00pm with option for a pre-arranged one-hour slot delivery if requested using
specific packing. Maximum shipping dimension 40cm and max weight 3 kg. Remote areas are excluded. Applies to shipments within Attica and Thessaloniki also
applies to shipments from cities from the mainland with 1 day service to Attica and Thessaloniki (islands excluded). 10 For shipments from/to Attica we provide the
option for next day delivery (not applicable for shipment by ship). 11 Undelivered shipment to Cyprus which is returned is charged with the initial Greece- Cyprus
price plus additional return charges.
GENERAL NOTES
Insurance:
All domestic and international shipments are covered by default against loss or damage up to the amount of 70 € for documents or 400 € for parcel shipments. For
shipments within Greece, we offer the option for increased insurance amounts. Increased insured value surcharge is calculated based on a 0,6% premium. For
insured values exceeding 3.000 € a previous agreement is required. It is clarified that the insurance does not cover consequential damages.
Volumetric Charges:
The volumetric weight of each shipment is calculated according to standard IATA regulations (LxWxH in cm / 5.000) and is considered the
chargeable weight when it exceeds the actual weight.
Storage Fees:
The storage cost is set at €1.00 per day per 2 kilograms, with an additional charge of €0.50 per extra kilogram
Services to/from Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania:
For shipments to/from Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania the maximum weight per shipment is 32 kilos. Each shipment may consist of only one parcel/box.
Same day Deliveries:
The maximum dimensions of parcels accepted for Same Day Delivery is the Post Box code 101 of Geniki Taxydromiki’s Packaging Materials (38x20x12 cm). For
Same Day deliveries between different zones the maximum pricing and delivery time is applied.
Delivery Days:
“Delivery Days” are considered the working days, Saturday excluded. For delivery regarding Remote Areas in Cyprus, delivery days increase up to 2 additional days.
“Delivery Time” regarding Same Day delivery specifies the total time needed from pickup to delivery.
