Environmental management policy

Geniki Taxydromiki has set environmental protection as an immediate priority. Recognizing the need for rational management of its activities, which have or may have any impact on the environment, it has adopted and is continuously improving an Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 standard. The company's Management has established environmental objectives which it monitors and, if necessary, revises, in order to ensure that they are adequate and effective for environmental protection.

Within the framework of its environmental policy, General Post is committed to:

● Performing its operations in accordance with applicable legal and other requirements.

● Taking all necessary actions to monitor, measure, evaluate and improve its environmental performance.

● Continuously informing and training staff on environmental management issues.

● Provision of all necessary resources for the effective operation of the System.

● Regular communication with all stakeholders to disseminate the pro-environmental policy and cooperate
   in addressing environmental problems.

● Taking measures to prevent environmental accidents and to address pollution from a potential accident.

● Cooperation with approved suppliers and their further evaluation with environmental criteria.

● Use, where possible, new environmentally friendly means and equipment.

● Development of environmental programs aimed at:

         ○ The rational management of natural and energy resources.

         ○ The reduction of waste generated and the rational management of air pollutants.

         ○ The reduction of noise and vibrations.

         ○ The reuse and recycling of materials and waste.

This policy has been communicated to all Geniki Takhydromiki human resources and is available to interested parties. It is reviewed at regular intervals and, if necessary, revised to keep pace with developments.
